Meet Little Man and his mom! She is a patient of Carolina Caring, as was her husband, who passed away recently. She has three furbabies: Little Man, Blackie, and Big Boy. She loves her cats! With the help of Carolina Caring's Pet Peace of Mind program, Little Man received his rabies vaccine and was neutered, free of charge. Unfortunately, caring for her three beloved pets has become too much for her now that her husband has passed away and she is living alone. Following the patient's wishes, Carolina Caring is supporting her decision to look for a new fur-ever home for Little Man, Blackie, and Big Boy.

Reading about Little Man and his owner really tugged at my heartstrings, especially the part where the volunteer mentioned how the dog seemed to sense exactly when he was needed most. It’s incredibly moving to see how a pet's presence can offer such profound comfort during hospice care. I was actually discussing something similar with a friend who is using New Assignment Help in Australia for her veterinary social work studies, and we both agreed that the emotional bond between humans and animals is still so underappreciated in clinical settings.
