We are pleased to announce that Cornerstone Hospice, an affiliate of Chapters Health System is the 2023 winner of the Ingrid Thornquist Award. The Ingrid Thornquist Award recognizes the efforts of an outstanding Pet Peace of Mind partner demonstrating a high level of commitment to the program’s mission to ensure treasured pets are included in the patient’s circle of care.
Cornerstone Hospice has been a Pet Peace of Mind partner since 2011, providing exceptional care and rehoming services to pets of their patients. In the last year, they provided services to 145 pets and helped locate loving new homes for 33 pets. Not only are they passionate about the Pet Peace of Mind program at a local level, but they are strong advocates for the program on a national level. Cornerstone Hospice helped expand the program within Chapters Health System, bringing the program to an additional five affiliates.
Diane Anderson, Manager of Volunteer Services accepted this award for Cornerstone Hospice at the National Hospice and Palliative Care Organization Annual Leadership Conference.
