Original Artwork Portrays Pet Peace of Mind’s Mission

In a year filled with challenges, changes, and sorrows, Pet Peace of Mind was exceptionally fortunate to receive many gifts which make it possible to continue the work of ensuring critically ill patients have the pet care assistance they need. One of the greatest gifts came in the form of a graphic representation of the fulfillment of our mission. The original illustration was created by artist Sandra Kooper.

A few months ago, Sandra asked how she could serve Pet Peace of Mind. For years, we have dreamed of having an illustration showing our role in supporting and maintaining the human animal bond. We asked her to create a piece which portrayed the bond of love between the pet, the adopter who gave the pet a new forever home, and the person who loved the pet and was able to pass in peace knowing the pet would continue to be loved and treasured in a new home. When Sandra submitted her art several weeks later, we were moved by the beautiful depiction of the bond she captured through her amazing artistic gift. Pet Peace of Mind will use this poignant image to communicate the importance of the relationships with people and their pets, even after passing.
